Small group equipment classes utilize the primary Pilates apparatus: reformers, towers, and chairs. The spring resistance of this specialized equipment provides a challenging, bone strengthening endurance workout. Best of all, the equipment is easily customizable for the user which allows individuals to work at an appropriate fitness level. Visible results can be seen after a dozen or so regular sessions. If you are new to the Pilates equipment we suggest that you take a few private sessions to learn the basics before you get started in a group class.

Massage Yoga - Open Level - A blended treatment of restorative yoga poses, massage techniques to help deepen your relation, manage stress, and enhance the flow energy in your body. This combination of touch, gentle stretching, and relaxation make this class a truly unique healing experience. Offered in a comfortable fully clothed environment. No yoga experience necessary. Must be comfortable getting up and down from the floor.
Slow Flow - Open Level - Take it slow with this gentle, approach to Vinyasa Yoga. This practice links poses to breath building inner strength, and opening. You will learn to unleash the potential on how to link breath to movement.
Beginner and Chair Yoga - Mixed Level - Uses a chair as a prop for support, balance, or advancing the pose as appropriate for each student. A series of options are given for each posture to allow students to find the optimal balance between support and challenge to meet them where they are at the moment. This class will include an exploration of alignment, strength, balance, flexibility, breath, and relaxation. All are welcome to this class. No Yoga experience needed.
Yin Yoga - Intermediate Level - Unwind, unravel, clean the slate, begin again. Our Yin/Restorative Yoga class incorporates blocks and straps. It will challenge you in new and refreshing ways as we create and hold the postures for 3 to 5 minutes. Finish with peaceful mediation to melt your body and mind.
Vinyasa Flow - Intermediate/Advanced Level - Vinyasa translates as "the union between breath and movement" or "one breath, one movement", a combination of yoga postures and breath work put together as a continuous but never rushed flow. It will help you build or increase strength, flexibility and balance, leaving your body energized but centered and your mind peaceful and present.

Mat Class

Pilates mat classes focus on developing core strength, flexibility, balance and stamina. The instructor presents the exercises at multiple levels which allows students to choose to work at a beginning, intermediate, or advanced pace. Students learn to be aware of breathing patterns and spinal alignment while engaging the deep muscles of the core. Various props (e.g. flex bands, foam rollers, rings, light weights, and balls) are incorporated to enhance and intensify the workout. No previous Pilates experience is necessary to join a mat class.

This class is the perfect blend of deep muscle toning, stretching, balancing, and cardio vascular intervals guaranteed to pump up your heart rate and burn fat! Barre incorporates the fluidity of ballet, the flexibility of yoga, and the core strengthening of Pilates. It is a structured, easy-to-follow total body workout. This low impact workout combines light weights with other props to ensure you get a challenging workout every time!
